This project required us to design merchandise based on a chosen slogan, and mine was “Create the things you wish existed.” Because the message is all about imagination and possibility, I wanted the type design to feel funky, playful, and creatively expressive. Since we were only allowed to use typography, I incorporated an asterisk-like shape to symbolize the “creative wheels spinning,” suggesting sparks of inspiration and new ideas forming.
